''Telphusa hemicycla'' is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It is found in Paraguay.〔(Telphusa at funet )〕 The wingspan is about 14 mm. The forewings are purplish-grey irrorated dark grey, the dorsal two-fifths ferruginous-brownish and with a dark grey subdorsal tuft at one-fourth, with above this a blackish dot. There is a suffused dark fuscous oblique streak from the costa at one-fourth to the fold, preceded on the costa by a whitish spot and at the lower end by a whitish tuft beneath the fold. A semi-annular black line forms an erect arch in the disc slightly beyond the middle, with a white dot just above this. The posterior edge of this arch is extended by a short fuscous line towards the tornus and there is a blackish longitudinal streak in the disc posteriorly, touching the arch but not reaching the termen. The hindwings are grey, lighter anteriorly.〔(Exotic Microlep. 4: 350 )〕 ==References==
